The complainant wanted to report problems she is having with her neighbor. The complainant’s dispute started over a parking space that had been resolved by the landlord. The complainant said that ever since the parking dispute, the neighbor has been acting out towards her when he is drunk. She found some scratches and small dents on her car. She feels this damage is done by her neighbor when he comes home late at night. She said he knocked on her door about three weeks ago late at night bothering her. She does not know when the damages were done to her car. She was told to call the police when he gets confrontational, or if she has any other problems with him.

The male reported the fraudulent account to the bank and they requested that he make a police report. The male was advised on how to further protect his personal information and how to obtain a copy of the report for the bank.

The complainant wanted to report his Ford damaged. It has been parked in the driveway since yesterday. He returned home from work at 1700 hours and found the left-side door damaged. It appears a vehicle sideswiped his car while it was parked in the driveway. The complainant did not know his insurance information.

A caller flagged down an officer after a hit-skip. The caller is at Solon Road and Northfield Road. No injuries reported. An officer advised making a traffic stop with the vehicle that hit the car and left. A tow was requested for a Chevy with one male in custody. An officer advised en route to the station with the male.

A mother called and explained that her 17-year-old daughter took her van without permission. This is an ongoing issue with the juvenile taking the vehicle in order to go and hang out with her friends. The parents have been advised on how to follow up with juvenile court. They did not want to take any action but wanted the vehicle back. An officer followed up on August 11 regarding the vehicle and learned the juvenile crashed the van in Cleveland. The parents were able to obtain the vehicle.

The complainant states that she received a call from a woman named “Lisa” who stated that she worked for the US Marshals in Texas, and they were investigating a money-laundering, and drug case. Lisa asked the complainant to close her bank account and put all the money on a gift card that she was to buy from Giant Eagle and take the card to a secret government official who would scan the card. The complainant states that Lisa knew her name and address. The complainant gave Lisa the last four numbers of her Social Security Number but no other information. The complainant was advised that this was a scam call and to monitor her credit and Social Security Number for any abnormal activity.

The complainant states that while doing yard work, an unknown person took his Ultra phone off the back of his car in his driveway. The complainant tracked the phone to an address on Columbus Road in Bedford Heights and asked officers to assist him in retrieving it. The complainant was advised that Bedford officers were unable to assist him, to which he stated that he would go to the address and then call Bedford Heights. Officers advised the complainant against this.

A female in the lobby stated she is being harassed by the father of her child. She stated he drove by her mom’s house on Magnolia yesterday and threw pictures and keepsakes of the baby onto the driveway. She stated that today he is continually texting her in regard to social media posts. The complainant was advised on how to potentially obtain a civil protection order and also to bring the recent events to the attention of the magistrate at her next custody hearing.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of family trouble between a mother and her juvenile daughter. The mother stated to officers that her child is continuing to be unruly and “talking back.” The juvenile stated that she just wants to head home for the evening. Both parties stated that nothing physical occurred and that the altercation was only verbal. Due to the mother being extremely intoxicated, the mother agreed to have her brother come pick up the juvenile for the evening to keep the peace. The mother was advised on how to file her juvenile unruly, and no further police action was required.

A woman wanted to file an identity theft report. She went to file an unemployment claim, and the bureau told her someone already filed a claim using her name and ID. The unemployment bureau told her to file a report with her local police. An officer spoke with the female who stated she called the pandemic unemployment on June 11 to apply for unemployment. She then contacted the pandemic unemployment again sometime last week, who advised her that a check was already deposited with her routing number but with a different account number. The female stated she was unaware of this and mentioned the total amount of unemployment she has not collected yet was $7,371. Pandemic unemployment advised the female to make a report and they will look further into the fraud.

A female states that her boyfriend, who is the father of her child, broke the front door and poured bleach on her clothes while she was not home. The male does live at the house and the female was advised of her civil options. The female recorded a phone call from the male in which he threatened to kill her. The male is to be charged with domestic violence.

A male is putting items in his backpack. He just took an alarm clock out of the box and put it in his bag. Officers arrived on scene and found the male walking around with a basket of store property. Once he was stopped, the male admitted to having store property and pulled clothing and items out of his pants that he stated he was going to pay for. The store property was returned, and the male was advised of trespassing and told not to come back to the store. The male was advised and released on his warrant.

The complainant called to report that her nephew just attacked her and may have gone next door. The home is a duplex. She said that he tried to choke her. They got into an argument about him taking a shower because he had been out all night. She said he went wild and tried to put her into a head lock and tried to choke her. Then he just stopped and ran out of the home. She did have a small cut on her nose. He left the area before officers arrived on the scene. She does not want to press charges at this time. She said he was moving out by Friday. The complainant wants him to move out and go to rehab. An officer spoke to the nephew by cell phone. The nephew said he would return today and move his property out. He will make arrangements so that other family members are there while he gets his property.

The caller is receiving messages that packages are being delivered to the house. Today, a package was delivered and the caller was contacted by USPS and they advised it was signed by someone. He would like to see if someone is staying there who shouldn’t be. No one should be there. His uncle works on the house but he is at work. The caller is in Arizona. There was no answer at the door when officers visited, and they were unable to locate anyone in the area of the property.

Both females stated to officers that they have been having ongoing neighbor issues, and that the altercation was only verbal. Both parties agreed to head inside and keep the peace for the evening. No further police action required.

There are two young children there that run around and play. She was advised to try to keep the noise down.

A caller advised there is a male going through vehicles in the car lot. He is under the hood of the cars placing items in a white bag. The male states he had permission to grab some things from his car before it was sent to the scrap yard by management. He admitted employees were not aware he would come onto the property after hours but stated they would be fine with it. The dispatch was unable to make contact with the owner to confirm this information. The male was sent on his way and told not to return without permission.

When he returned to pick up his order, the employee stated he did not pay yet. Officers spoke to the employee who stated she never received payment for the order. The male was advised this is a civil issue and to contact the corporate office. The male agreed to leave for the evening.

A caller advised there is a group of people gathered at a home which is for sale. No one should be at the home per the caller who is a neighbor. There are three subjects the caller can see on the porch, and there are two vehicles in the driveway. They have been there for the past 15 minutes. It does not appear anyone has gained entry into the home. The caller stated he was able to contact the owner (who is not at the property), and they said no one should be there. The house has not been transferred over to its new owner yet. The caller stated that if no one is at the residence when they arrive, then officers should check another home on W. Grace Street. Three females were detained when officers arrived. A Twinsburg Police Department female officer is en route to the jail to assist. The residence was secured.

The male stated he got lost on the trail and asked the caller to call his home. The male has a duffle bag with him, he has no cell phone and has no vehicle. The male told the caller that this is the first time they have been outside in eight years. Officers searched multiple areas. The origin of the call happened in Walton Hills. Checks OK.

A female is sitting in a vehicle at the entrance of a driveway and refusing to move. The caller approached her twice to have her move her vehicle into a parking spot, and she became agitated and refused. Officers arrived and spoke with the complainant. He advised that the vehicle has been parked in front of the building blocking the stairway. He asked her twice to move her vehicle into a parking spot and she refused and rolled up her window. He advised that he would like her trespassed from the property. The highly agitated female initially would not identify herself but eventually provided a license that was suspended. Officers had her boyfriend (who was valid) take custody of the vehicle and she was trespassed without further incident.

A male is in the police department lobby requesting to speak with an officer in reference to his tenant’s boyfriend pulling a knife on him last month. The boyfriend had been mad about the caller cleaning garbage up on the property. An officer spoke to the male who is the landlord where the female tenant and her boyfriend live. The landlord did not feel immediately threatened at the time, but felt uneasy when the male approached him two days ago while he was cutting the grass and was aggressive towards the landlord. The landlord just wants the incident documented as he is currently evicting the couple. The landlord was advised to contact the department if he feels threatened.

A male is in the lobby to speak to an officer in reference to harassing phone calls and social media posts. The complainant stated that once he got home from deployment on July 8, he has been getting messages from a male who he has never met but has a mutual friend with. The complainant believes the male is jealous of the relationship between him and his female friend and is trying to intimidate him. The complainant said the male has sent him messages asking where he is, and that he will need his gun on him when he sees him. The complainant now has a new cell phone number and stated that he just wanted this all to be documented. He was advised to contact the department if things escalate.

A keyholder arrived at the store and parties ran out the back. Bedford units are requested for assistance. The subjects are in the woods to the east of the store. One has a red hoodie and two have black hoodies. There are five juveniles altogether. Bedford units on the scene advise that there are parties in the woods to the east. Officers are out at the store. Parties are in the woods between the tire shop near Maple Heights Boulevard and Libby Road. The male ditched the red hoodie. A male is walking down Libby Road heading east with dark pants and no shirt. One subject is in custody. Best Mobile checks OK. Bedford officers stated the suspects did not gain entry into the building. Officers are checking the cameras, and the male who is detained is confirmed on video.

A mother is reporting that juveniles from down the street came down with a gun and tried to get her son to help them steal the mother’s vehicle. The son is still on the scene and still has her vehicle. The males in question are 15 and 17 years old. The male with the gun was wearing all black. The complainant stated that her son told her that the boys down the street brandished a firearm and demanded he give them his mother’s keys. Officers located some boys at a nearby home. They denied this ever happened and stated that there are some boys at another house that always take their mom’s car. The boys offered to let officers search their house. (No parent or guardian was home). The complainant and her son finished their statements, and in the juvenile’s statement he said that he never saw a gun. The mother claims that she does not allow her children to hang around with the boys on the street because they are always “up to no good” and that “they steal their mom’s car nearly every night.” No further police action is needed since there was not any theft offense and the juvenile did not see a firearm.

Officers spoke with a complainant in the lobby who states that while checking her credit report recently, she gained knowledge that while in college, unknown persons opened a light bill account using her Social Security Number. The account was opened in December 2017 and closed in December 2018 with a total loss to the victim of $587.15. Upon further investigation with the company, it was discovered that the suspect was the complainant’s sister. The victim confronted the sister who admitted to the use of the SSN. The incident was documented for the victim who is in current talks with the Federal Trade Commission.

The complainant stated the unknown person(s) are entering her home by cutting holes in her roof and are living in her crawl space. The complainant has made multiple similar reports in the past.

An employee reports that sometime in the past 2-3 days, person(s) unknown took a vehicle from the lot. The vehicle was located by Cleveland Police before it was entered into leads. Cleveland advised that the vehicle was damaged. There is no video of the theft or suspects.

The victim states that a male driving an Acura pointed a gun at him while they were stopped at the intersection of Rockside Road and Broadway Avenue. The victim followed the vehicle to an address on Broadway Avenue. Officers made contact with a male at that address who denied owning a gun and gave verbal consent for officers to search his house and vehicle for a gun. A handgun was located in the attic crawl space and the victim identified the male that pointed a gun at him. The male was charged with aggravated menacing.

The complainant wanted to report a stolen/missing front plate. The complainant said that his vehicle was at JD Byrider since Monday, and he picked it up yesterday. A male is physically assaulting a female. They were last seen in the U-Haul lot. A female is on foot and the male is in a Buick following her. The male was punching her and pulling her by her hair. The caller is a witness. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle near Greencroft Road. The male driver stated that he and his girlfriend came to buy a vehicle but were denied financing. After leaving the dealership, the male stopped to get gas and the female went through his phone and found text messages from another woman. The male claimed that when he returned to the vehicle she began striking him and broke his chain. Witnesses saw the female exit the vehicle in traffic and the male party grab her and try to get her back in the car. Officers located the female at Bedford Nissan. She would not speak to officers and did not want to get back in the vehicle with the male subject. She had already called a Lyft driver who arrived shortly after speaking with her. She declined a squad as well as pursuing anything against the male. She just wanted to leave and was sent on her way in the Lyft.

The female was advised of our Safe Passages program to receive proper help. The female refused EMS on the scene. The suspected heroin was entered into property.

The unknown subject went into her unlocked vehicle and took the vehicle registration, five pairs of sunglasses, a loaded gun magazine (the gun was not in the car), and two pocket knives. The complainant has the theft on camera, but because of bad lighting, you can only see a shadow.

Officers spoke with the complainant in the lobby in regards to her child’s father who is harassing her on the phone and on social media. Officers obtained screenshots from the female of recent messages and calls. The male between Aug. 15 and Aug. 16 called the complainant using Facebook Messenger approximately 15 times along with several messages. There were no threats located. The complainant was advised about domestic relations court. Officers spoke with the male via phone who states that the complainant has been keeping his child away from him and has changed her phone number, so the only way he can contact his 4-year-old daughter is through the complainant’s Facebook. The male states that he has recently been in contact with a lawyer and will move forward with obtaining a custody agreement through the courts.

A complainant in the lobby states a landscaper was doing work at his neighbor’s home on Aug. 12 and damaged his vehicle. The complainant states the neighbor apologized for the damage to his vehicle and gave the complainant the number and information on the landscaper, but the landscaper is avoiding him now. The complainant took his vehicle to a repair shop for a damage estimate which came back at a total of $907.09. Officers advised the complainant of civil options.

Officers spoke with a car dealership director of human resources who states that two employees, both married, have been having an affair. The spouse of the female party gained knowledge of the affair and attempted to make contact with the male party at his home on Aug. 16 but was unsuccessful. The person now states that the spouse of the female has called looking for the male and asking for his work schedule, so that he can confront the male at the workplace. The complainant called to report that his ex-girlfriend took money out of his Cash App and PayPal accounts. He believes that she has taken approx. $390 dollars out of the accounts. He said his ex-girlfriend’s mother knows all his passwords because she used to help him pay bills. He cannot prove that she took the money out without his permission, because it shows that he approved the transactions. He was advised to shut down the accounts or change the passwords immediately. The complainant was also advised to contact PayPal and Cash App directly to see if they can show the money was taken out fraudulently.

The caller has documents proving guardianship of his brother that the female refuses to acknowledge. He is not aware of any doctor’s appointment, but the female refuses to leave or disclose why she’s there or where she wants to take his brother. Everything checks OK. Officers spoke with both parties involved.

The female’s pants were down, and then when the female observed the caller approaching, she finished and pulled her pants up. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect female. Officers spoke to both parties at the tow yard. The two males on the scene were from Philadelphia and were there to buy a car from an employee. One of the males allegedly paid $2,000 upfront to buy the car and has now been getting a runaround from the employee. Both parties agreed to meet tonight at 2100 hours to exchange the car and the remaining cost of the vehicle.

Two males are in the garage of a vacant home. The caller knows these are not the previous owners. The caller states the males pulled a car up to the garage just out of view of the caller. There has not been property in the home for two to three weeks, however there is property in the garage which is detached from the house.  Officers spoke with the male the on scene who stated the male who lived there previously owed him $500 for work not completed on a motorcycle. He stated he was taking items from the garage in compensation. The male mentioned the former resident knew he was there, however an attempt to contact him came with negative results. The male was advised to put the items back in the garage and to make sure the other person was on the scene next time he returned. The department was able to contact the previous resident who stated he moved out about a week ago and figured he would have to let the items go. He stated he would contact the male and advise him he could take the items.

The caller wants her boyfriend to leave and he will not. The male lives at the residence. The female has been drinking. The male does drugs, owns guns and is a felon. The female is in a car in the driveway. The male is inside. The caller just arrived home and the male has been sending her threatening messages. The male owns two guns and the female owns a pellet gun. None of the firearms were involved in the incident. The caller states the male and her brother are arguing inside the house. The caller states the male has gone to prison for killing someone. The caller is outside with her mother and brother. When officers arrived they found both parties had been drinking. They had a verbal argument and have agreed to stay separate for the evening.

The caller is concerned about a hole in the fence at the old Chanel school, and he states that the hole is getting bigger. Three weeks ago the caller witnessed a male loading cinder blocks into a pickup truck. Officers spoke with this complainant about this same issue on Aug. 14. Officers spoke directly to the crew on site to have the fence repaired. There was no cause for concern.

The video did not show anyone tampering with her vehicle. The female was very adamant that employees tampered with the video surveillance. She was advised the cover may have fallen off while she was driving.

A caller is reporting that a male wearing an orange hoodie is pacing back and forth between the home and the garage. He was wearing a black backpack and the caller states he has taken it off. The caller wished to be anonymous. The male left on a bike on Brunswick. Officers located the male running northbound on Dunham Road. The male ran through yards toward the cemetery and school. An officer will be checking the home where the male started. An officer is posted at the school and has a view of the area including to Brunswick Avenue. The male has not come out from the cemetery. At the home, a back window screen has been pushed up, and there are handprints on other screens. A vehicle in the driveway was not secure and may have been gone through. There is a camo backpack in the backyard. The department made contact with the homeowner. He is out of town but will contact a neighbor to respond to his home. A male is sighted running northwest from Edgewood Avenue. Bedford Police was advised to have two units respond to assist with perimeter. No area agencies have a K-9 available. All elementary schools in the area are on lockdown. A father confirms that the suspect is his son and confirmed the clothing description. The father advises he does not want to pursue charges against his son, but just have him advised for trespassing.

The complainant called to report a suspicious person and vehicle in the driveway. Upon arrival, officers checked the exterior of the home and found no forced entry. The tenant from the upstairs apartment said the owner of the vehicle was in the downstairs apartment. He also said the vehicle has been there before. Officers could not get anyone to answer the door at the downstairs apartment.
