Hello Bedford Residents

Memorial Day is a time for all of us to pay our respect and honor the men and women who risked and lost their lives fighting on behalf of the United States.

To me, Memorial Day is much more than a long weekend, it is a dedicated time to reflect on the cost of freedom, honor the fallen, and express gratitude for those who gave their lives. Every folded flag represents a story of bravery and a future unlived.

“We don’t know them all, but we owe them all.” — Unknown

“May we never forget freedom isn’t free.” — Sgt. Maj. Bill Paxton

“For love of country they accepted death…and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.” — James A. Garfield

“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid.” — Harry S. Truman

Lastly, I give much respect to our Police Officers and Firefighters who risk their lives everyday serving and protecting our cities and battling fires. Thank you.

Peace to All
