A female is upset because her ex-husband lost her vehicle. She would like to report the vehicle stolen. An officer spoke to the male who stated that he was carjacked in Cleveland and the vehicle is now stolen. He was advised to contact the Cleveland Police Department to report the carjacking. Officers spoke to the male’s mother who stated that the male has mental issues and is off his meds, and she believes that he left the car in a parking lot. She also stated that the female and male have been living together for about two months, and she has been allowing him to use the car.

A male has been contacting the dealership with intentions of buying a very expensive car, but he has clearly altered some bank documents and personal information. The business believes the male gave them fake identification, and so they did not sell him the vehicle. They were advised to contact the police department if the male returns to the business.

A female is reporting that a package was supposed to be delivered on July 13 and the USPS shows it delivered it, but no package has come. She is concerned that someone has stolen it. The caller stated she had two packages delivered from eBay. One contained face masks and the other contained phone cases. She was given a report number so the packages could be replaced. Later, the complainant reported that the packages were erroneously delivered to a neighboring house.

A male has copies of his court-ordered visitation paperwork, and he says the mother of their child is refusing to cooperate with the order. Officers spoke to the male in the lobby. He had custody paperwork stating that after May 22, he was authorized to have every other weekend from Friday to Tuesday for custody. He showed officers text messages from the child’s mother that said she would not allow him to have the child this weekend. He was advised that this was a civil matter and he was given the report number to file a violation of the custody agreement.

Officers spoke to a female in the lobby. She is here for a custody dispute that she is having with her child’s father. He came in today to file a violation on her for failing to give him his daughter during the court-ordered time. She made note that he also has not been following the order and has missed several scheduled days. She wanted the information documented so she can file a violation as well. This is a civil matter, and she was advised how to file with the court.

A caller states a miter saw was taken from her garage sometime during the last week. She said she is unable to lock the garage door. The caller stated it was a lime green saw valued at approximately $100. The caller stated they just moved in recently and do not have any problem with any neighbors and have not seen anything suspicious recently. Also, they stated there have been no family or friends over who could have known about it. The caller states that they are not pressed on the issue and just wanted a report created.

The caller said he does not know this male, and he also said the male has been sending his brother messages as well. The caller would like to speak with an officer in reference to these messages. The caller appeared to be intoxicated. He was advised to block the male on Messenger.

An employee is reporting a male came in saying he was going to steal a car. He had the keys and had a fake machine gun he was shooting out the door. No shots were heard. Officers located the male. He is not responding to police commands. The male is known to have mental health issues.The Oakwood Village Police Department will notify the father to respond to the scene to try and communicate and remove the male. The father is on the scene. The male refused to get in the car with his father. He is currently walking down Broadway Avenue with his father following him. He is yelling but not causing an issue.  The male was noticeably experiencing a mental breakdown, so officers spoke with him until his father arrived on the scene. His father advised he has not taken his medication and will make sure he takes the medication he needs.

The female caller stated the other female has been harassing her and just drove past her mother’s house. She stated the female didn’t make any direct threats but wanted the situation documented. The complainant was advised on how to call about a protection order and to call if the female shows up at her home again.

A box truck was going through the drive-through at Burger King, and the ladder rack on the top struck the canopy overhang at the menu board. It shifted the sign and caused minor damage. The driver showed no signs of impairment as had been reported by the complainant. The vehicle’s owner provided the insurance information, but he stated that his truck should be lower than the posted 9-foot overhang. He was advised that it was a civil matter and to dispute it with his insurance. Officers also contacted the district manager and advised her of the situation. All information was documented and the report number was provided to both parties.

The caller is reporting that someone vandalized all the items on her patio overnight. Sometime last night, person(s) unknown drove into the bushes near the complainant’s patio and damaged a sign and a glass garden pot. There are no cameras or suspects at this time. The complainant was advised to contact management to replace the bushes and sign.

A male would like to report that while he was at work, someone stole his wallet and was able to withdraw several hundred dollars from his bank accounts fraudulently. The complainant’s wallet had been placed on a desk inside the business. Inside the wallet was the complainant’s Social Security card, driver’s license, and a banking account debit/credit card. When the complainant realized his wallet was missing, he immediately called his bank to freeze the account. While speaking with the bank, the complainant learned the suspect(s) made two unauthorized transactions at a BP ATM in Bedford. The complainant was told he may be contacted to help identify a suspect if BP has the incident recorded by their security cameras.

A female caller reports that a male who broke into her house eight years ago is now harassing her by phone and telling her that he has been in her house today while she was not home. The male is her ex-boyfriend’s nephew. She would like to speak with officers. An officer spoke to the female complainant who stated she thought the male had been around her house earlier today trying to harass her, but she did not see him. She also stated the male contacted her from a cellphone saying he was over by her house. The officer tried to make contact with the male through the number given but had negative results. The female was advised to call if she sees him by her property or sees anything suspicious.

A female wishes to report that her boyfriend beat her up this morning. She declined a squad. Officers are out at the home for a follow-up. A male is in custody, and they are transporting him to the jail.

The caller is reporting that her dog is missing from its kennel inside the garage. Officers spoke to the complainant at the residence. Her pitbull puppy is missing from their garage. There is an ongoing issue with a neighbor who recently took photos of the dog and posted on social media about its living conditions and possible neglect. The animal wardens have responded and dealt with this issue numerous times. They noted in the original assessments of the living conditions that there was food, water and shelter, which is all that is required per the ordinance. Officers checked the area where the dog was living and found dog feces everywhere. The water supply was in a 5-gallon bucket with brown water that did not appear to be safe to drink. Also, officers could not find any source of food or bowls inside the garage. Given the current conditions that were observed, officers would have advised her against keeping the dog in those conditions. Initially the complainant was not going to even call police about the dog, but she was upset because someone trespassed on her property and opened her garage. Due to the ongoing history with this residence and the animal wardens having allowed the living conditions, this will be forwarded on for them to address. Officers found the social media post and noted that several people were planning to come and take the dog from the property. One post even noted that the “dog was safe.”

Officers spoke with the complainant on the scene who stated that on July 6 an unknown male could be seen on camera stealing an employee’s bike. The employee, who is on a work visa, does not know the make, model, or serial number of the bike, but describes it as a 24- to 26-inch mountain bike. The unknown male went into the rear of the property to take the bike. The complainant would just like the incident documented and the bike returned.

An employee threatened another employee and had to be restrained on Saturday. The complainant stated there was an altercation between a male and female employee, and that the male was the aggressor and has been suspended from the company. The business discovered the male also left a threatening note in another employee’s mailbox. The complainant was advised that the employees involved with the altercation and threatening letter can make a report with the police department if they wish to pursue the matter.  An officer spoke with the male and advised him he is no longer welcome on the property. He stated he would comply.

An officer spoke with a female in the lobby for a report of a theft. The female stated she and her ex-boyfriend went to Fin Feather Fur Outfitters to purchase a firearm on June 28. The female then stated the male purchased the firearm for her and she used her identification for it. The female stated she never had possession of the firearm, and it was kept with the male. The female did not have a receipt or serial number for the firearm. She will attempt to retrieve that information and will report back to the department.

Officers responded to the high school for a report of a student athlete who threatened to shoot the team. An officer spoke with the coach who already stated he reported the incident to the athletic director. They will then determine if the school wishes to pursue charges. Officers brought the juvenile home and spoke with his mother about the incident. She was advised of the possible charges and that her son is suspended as of now from the team. She stated he has severe anger issues and is off of his medication. She called and left a message for his counselor in front of the officers.  Officers spoke with the juvenile again. He said that he got into a shoving match with a teammate and made the threat to him, not the whole team, and he did not have any intention of following up with the threat.

She called her mortgage company and they told her they knew nothing about this. She was advised to block the calls and was given advice on monitoring her credit for scams.

A caller is in the lobby to speak with an officer in reference to his wife not allowing him to see his child. Both parties are still married, but they live in different homes. The female lives in Bedford with the son. The complainant was upset because his soon to be ex-wife would not allow him to see their child. The complainant understands that this is a civil issue but is worried that the wife is going to call the police on him when he goes there and tries to visit. An officer spoke with the female. She stated the complainant shows up at all hours of the day and does not live there anymore, and she has blocked his number. She claims she is willing to work on their child custody if he does not randomly show up at her house. The complainant was advised of trespassing and to follow-up with domestic relations court and/or an attorney to get an agreement in place.

A female states she was scammed for more than $2,100 dollars, and she has the male’s information.  This happened while she was trying to buy a puppy. She stated she was online shopping for a puppy and came across an ad/website but does not remember what it was called. The female stated she spoke to a male via text and over the phone about purchasing a puppy. The phone number when tried is unavailable. One of the addresses came back to a wooded empty field. The female explained she was told to wire money over to them including $500 for the puppy, $850 for the insurance of the dog and $750 for the shipping of the dog for a total of $2,100. She went to Walmart and wired three of those transactions to the listed addresses in Pennsylvania. The female stated she was supposed to receive the shipment of the dog today, but it never came, and now she is blocked from the number that had been contacting her.

The beer was emptied, and the driver was advised of the open container law. She will be leaving the area.

A male has been hanging around the dealership lately and was found sleeping in one of the vehicles recently. Today, the male told the caller that he is not leaving, and the caller will need to call the police. The male seems to be on some medication. Last night, the male was sleeping in one of the vehicles with the music blasting and a fake machine gun. The male went back to the vehicle he was sitting in last night which is at the back of the lot. They would like him to leave. The male is acting weird and talking strangely. Officers requested a mental evaluation for the subject. The male is en route by squad to the Bedford Medical Center. The male was acting irrationally. After speaking with his father, officers were advised the male had not been taking his medication and needed to go to the hospital. The male was asked to go and get an evaluation, and he agreed to be seen. He was transported without incident.

An officer spoke with the male via phone who stated he went to retrieve some personal belongings at the above address when he was chased away by two males with guns. The male did not know the individuals, could not give a description and stated his ex-wife was trying to set him up. When asked about what happened at the residence, the male kept bringing up past incidents which had nothing to do with today’s alleged incident. The male was uncooperative and then ended the phone call.

A female states that she received an email from her boss asking her to purchase Amazon gift cards and send them to a certain number. The victim purchased $2,000 on her parent’s credit card and $2,000 on her debit card from various stores and sent them to the phone number. The victim spoke to her boss who advised her that he did not send the email, and that his email was hacked. He advised her to contact the police department to file a report. Officers were able to determine that the phone number is part of a free app in which users that sign up can make up their own phone number and are not required to give accurate personal information. The female was advised to contact the attorney general’s office and her bank to report the scam.

An employee quit last night taking money with him. The caller is in the office waiting for police. A manager at Circle K stated on July 23 an employee quit his job and stole $597 from a register before leaving. Video shows the employee taking money from the register and placing it on the counter. The employee then placed the money in his front left pocket and walked out of the store. The male sent a text message to a group of co-workers which read, “I’m sorry, but I gotta quit.” The male is to be charged with theft.

A third-party caller is stating a mother and daughter are fighting. A small child is upstairs. Officers spoke with the 17-year-old and her mother regarding the call the police received. Neither party had any marks or signs of physical violence on their bodies, and both advised the argument was only verbal. They were advised of parental rights in Ohio.

The caller advised a break-in and assault occurred at the home. The 25-year-old male has an injured foot. The caller speaks spanish. The neighbor is the one who broke into the apartment. No weapons are involved. The suspects are from a nearby unit. The incident took place about 45 minutes ago. An officer is requesting a spanish-speaking officer for translation for the assault. Twinsburg police are en route for translation.

The male stated that a young female who lives near him sketched her initials onto the rear passenger side of his vehicle. The male did not know when this happened but observed a small scratch as he was washing his vehicle today. The male was advised to try to get an address of where the female may live.

A male states that his girlfriend hit him in the face with a remote. His face is bleeding. Both parties are intoxicated and are separated at this time. Martial arts weapons are kept in the house. The caller’s girlfriend just flung the remote and it struck the caller. She did not intend to hit him with the remote; it was just accidental. There was no argument before, and both parties are intoxicated. Both parties were advised to just head to sleep.

The father’s cars are in the driveway, and he was notified the female was responding for a pick-up. She would like officers to knock on the door and attempt to make contact with the male. She was advised that this is a custody matter, and police could not force anything. The female called back to advise she has her son back, and he is OK.

The caller advises she returned a car on time yesterday while the rental business was closed. The business is now claiming they don’t have the car. The caller states that she has been there for five hours while the business is supposed to be checking cameras, but they will not let her speak to a manager and are now ignoring her. The caller is very upset and requests that the police respond. The manager called reporting that the female left the car in front of the lot and left the keys in the car. Now the car is gone. The manager states the female needs to report the car stolen.

Officers were dispatched for a call of an assault. The female complainant was outside the residence and stated the male headbutted her and pushed her to the ground. Officers spoke to both parties and determined that they used to be in a relationship but have since ended it. The female half has been calling and texting the male non-stop for three days alleging that the male is cheating on her. Officers read through the texts which included threats from the female such as; “If i had a gun i would shoot you.” In total 30+ texts were sent since Sunday with no reply from the male. The female is pregnant and believes that the male half is the father. She has never lived at the residence, and they do not have any other children together. The male stated she came over on Friday, and after a verbal argument about the relationship, she broke several items in his home. Officers noted broken glass inside the front door that allegedly occurred during that incident. Last night around 0030 hours, the female came to the house and was banging on the door and begging in texts to come into the house. The male did not answer, and eventually she left. She returned at 0800 hours and began ringing the doorbell continuously (approximately 10 minutes straight) until the male answered the door. She then tried to push her way into the residence to allegedly talk to him about their relationship. The male stated he would not allow her to get past his doorstep and while she was attempting to push past him, the two parties allegedly bumped heads. He was then able to push her out of the doorway and into the front yard where they both fell into the grass. All officers on the scene conferred, and due to the conflicting stories, no charges were filed on the scene. Both parties were given statement forms to fill out and return so that officers can forward this to the prosecutor for a ruling.

A male claims that he rented a vehicle and it was parked at his aunt’s apartment on July 27 with the keys in the vehicle. The male claims sometime overnight, person(s) unknown took the vehicle, and he does not know where the vehicle is. There are no cameras or witnesses to the incident. An officer was able to find that the vehicle was involved in an accident in Brookpark on July 28 at 0600 hours and was left abandoned. The male was advised to contact the rental company to report the incident.

The caller is being harassed by her child’s father. An officer spoke to the female, who explained there has been ongoing custody disputes between her and her child’s father. The female showed that she has been receiving about 30 calls in an hour from the father, along with multiple texts. There are court documents stating that the female does need to speak to the male if he calls during typical work hours for the child. An officer left a message with the male about excessive calls and messaging.

A server at Los Gallos stated that two females and one male consumed their food and drinks and then left leaving only a $20 bill. Once the server realized that the individuals left without paying the full bill, he saw them in the parking lot getting into their vehicles. The server witnessed one of the vehicles, a Toyota, hit a Chevy and then left. The other vehicle that left the scene was a Cadillac. The server stated that both females were driving the vehicles. The caller is reporting a male is calling the caller a “n—–.” The male is upset over the caller’s son’s vehicle being parked on the street. He is threatening to cause damage to the vehicle. Officers spoke to both parties in regards to parking on the street. The neighbor parked his vehicle legally on the street. The other neighbor, though, was upset because he struggles to pull his large work van out. He was advised that anyone can legally park on the street and to keep the peace with his neighbors.

A  juvenile was knocking on the caller’s door and asking to use a phone charger. He appeared to be around 14 years old. He also told the caller that someone was trying to “jump him.” The caller does not want to speak with officers. A female juvenile just showed up, not sure if it is the same one from another call. The female was involved in the pursuit, and was taken into custody by the Maple Heights police.

A parent is outside of the child care establishment causing a disturbance. The parent is upset because she wants to drop off her sick child. The dispatch can hear the parent hitting the doorbell repeatedly. The child’s items were retrieved for the mother and she was advised and sent on her way.

The caller states that a male took her friend’s purse. The caller gave the male a ride from Akron. The male can be heard in the background arguing with the caller. The male is now running and carrying a knife. The caller advised that the male was looking for a High Street address when they brought him up to drop him off. He then grabbed the purse. The caller just advised she grabbed the purse back when they were arguing, but the male is still somewhere in the area. The male is in custody. The male stated that he was getting a ride from a girl from Akron to a house on High Street. According to the male, this unknown female owed him money, and she did not want to give it to him. The male admitted that he took her purse to look through it for money but then threw it and ran away. The male was EWW out of Summit County.

Security is reporting a large crowd that will not clear out — about 50 people. There are no reported weapons or fighting. Bedford police are requested for mutual aid. The Maple Heights police are not responding at this time. Officers met with security and were advised that the crowd had dispersed before they arrived.

Officers located a vehicle parked at five-points intersection heading southbound on Center Road. Officers made contact with the female driver who stated that while waiting for the red light she fell asleep. The female appeared to check OK. The vehicle was legally parked and the female agreed to walk the rest of the way home.

Officers responded to Walgreens for a report of an unwanted guest. Officers made contact with the female store manager. She was speaking with a female customer regarding the price of an item when the customer lifted up her dress and possibly exposing herself to the manager. Officers located the female and she stated she was just attempting to show the manager a like item that she had previously purchased and did not fully expose herself. The manager advised that she would just like the female customer trespassed from the store. The female was advised of trespassing. No further police action at this time.

As the caller was walking past an abandoned home on the street, he noticed the front window on the left is open a few inches. He believes he may have heard a moaning sound coming from inside. There is an open window in the front of the home, but it isn’t open enough to get inside. All the doors are secure. Officers spoke with a neighbor who stated a family of racoons are living in the home, which is most probably the noise the caller heard.

A caller is reporting a fight in a yard near the school. There are about 10 people there, and two girls were shoving each other. Officers said the parties were uncooperative, but there were no signs of an active disturbance.

An officer made contact with a male subject who advised that he and his girlfriend had a heated argument, and he asked her to leave. The female flipped the couch over in the living room. During the incident, a coffee table was broken with the glass (broken) lying on the floor. The male denied making any threats with a firearm and advised that the weapon was packed away in his suitcase in the upstairs closet. Another officer spoke to the female who was visibly upset and crying in the kitchen. The officer heard the female say that she tipped the couch over breaking her fingernail. The female stated that the male told her to leave and that she needed time to gather her clothing and property. The male stated that they are being evicted on July 31 for the same type of problems. The male called his mother asking if the girlfriend could go there and was told that she could go to the house. The female was gathering her belongings and stated that she would walk to the residence.

A caller states that his pictures have fallen off the wall. There is a loud crashing sound coming from a nearby apartment. The caller states this occurs every single night from 0030 to 0330 hours. The caller has not heard any voices at all, and he would like to speak with an officer. A male in a nearby residence was jumping around while partying and listening to a podcast. He was advised of disturbing the peace. He agreed to quiet down for the night.

Officers spoke with a complainant who states that his wife — who he has a court appearance today with for a divorce — entered the home demanding her keys. In the midst of an argument, the female pushed a fence down on the porch which hit the caller in the hand causing him to bleed. The argument was about the divorce and the complainant feeling like the wife is cheating him out of money. The complainant advised that he did not call for police assistance and would not like to pursue any charges at this time.

He was provided options on how to complete his business and decided to put a mask on.

A male is knocking on the caller’s door asking for someone that doesn’t live there. The caller won’t go to the door and states that the male seems out of it. The caller stated that he just yelled at the male to go away, and the male walked away stumbling. The caller states that male walked by looking at the house yesterday, also. Officers are out with the male. It checks OK. The male thought someone else lived there.
